The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts rang in 2017 with family, friends, live music and a spectacular fireworks display over Baltimore’s Inner Harbor!
Baltimore’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular took place Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 9pm to 12:30am. Starting at 9pm, the crowd at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater enjoyed party music by Super Bueno. At the stroke of midnight, colorful fireworks and lights filled the sky above downtown Baltimore. Those celebrating at the Inner Harbor also enjoyed skating at the Pandora Ice Rink, open until 12:30am. Regular rink admission prices apply.. WJZ-TV 13 is the media sponsor.
Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Metro Subway, Light Rail and Bus are the best ways to get downtown for the holiday celebration. Metro Subway and Light Rail service is extended for one hour after the event. For information on MTA services and schedules, please visit mta.maryland.gov.

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) seeks a company to produce a fireworks show for the Baltimore’s Light City, 4th of July Celebration and New Year’s Eve Spectacular. The contracted company will be responsible for designing, planning, choreographing to a soundtrack and executing the firework show for the 2018 Light City Finale in April, Baltimore’s 4th of July Celebration on July 4, and/or New Year’s Eve Spectacular on December 31.
