The Emerge Baltimore Exhibition Series features up-and-coming Baltimore-based artists. By producing exhibitions year-round in this iconic space, BOPA is providing more paid opportunities for Baltimore-based artists to show and sell their work — a need that local creatives have identified. In addition to increased income opportunities for working artists, activating these galleries also gives Baltimoreans and visitors alike the opportunity to engage with art and the historic landmark all in one.
Emerge Baltimore, Vol. 3: Fall Edition will feature solo shows by Sheila Crider, VILLAGER, and Shae McCoy.
The 2024 exhibitions are supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the generosity of the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC).
